sidenote: if you're trying to download the game on itch for a mac and it refuses to open, not even giving you the option to override and hit open anyway, get the steam version!
Dw, this happens to me all the time. im gonna assume you also have a Mac laptop. Go to settings and open privacy and security. After you press the okay button when it initially declines the game like what's seen from ur pic, scroll down on privacy and security and it should pop up to authorise it
